Restricted Parking and Stopping

Route NJ 82
(a) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 82 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no stopping or standing” zones, where stopping or standing is prohibited at all times:
1. In Union County:
i. In the Township of Union:
(1) No stopping or standing along both sides:
(A) For the entire length within the corporate limits, including all ramps and connections thereto, which are under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Transportation; except in areas covered by other approved parking restrictions (approximate mileposts 0.38 to 4.93).
(2) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Between a point 490 feet east of the easterly curb line of Stuyvesant Avenue (County Route 619) and the westerly curb line of Grandview Avenue.
(3) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Between a point 90 feet west of the westerly curb line of Harding Avenue and the easterly curb line of Adams Avenue.
(B) Between a point 570 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Burke Parkway and the easterly curb line of Stuyvesant Avenue (County Route 619).
(b) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 82 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking certain hours” zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Union County:
i. In the Township of Union:
(1) No stopping or standing along the eastbound (southerly) side between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, and 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of Burke Parkway and the westerly curb line of Grandview Avenue.
(B) Between the easterly curb line of Greenwood Road and the westerly curb line of Carteret Avenue.
(2) No stopping or standing along the westbound (northerly) side between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, and 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday:
(A) Between the westerly curb line of Carteret Avenue and the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Colonial Avenue.
(B) Between the westerly curb line of Cranbrook Road and the easterly curb line of Kingswood Road.
(c) The certain parts of State Highway Route 82 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “time limit parking” zones where parking is permitted as described:
1. In Union County:
i. In the Township of Union:
(1) Two (2) hour time limit parking along the eastbound (southerly) side between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday:
(A) Between a point 280 feet east of the easterly curb line of Stuyvesant Avenue (County Route 619) and a point 210 feet easterly therefrom.
(B) Between the easterly curb line of Grandview Avenue and a point 180 feet easterly therefrom.
(C) Between the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Adams Avenue and the easterly curb line of Warren Avenue.
(2) Two (2) hour time limit parking along the westbound (northerly) side between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday:
(A) Between a point 100 feet west of the westerly curb line of Warren Avenue and a point 90 feet west of the westerly curb line of Harding Avenue.
(B) Between the westerly curb line of Adams Avenue and the easterly curb line of Grandview Avenue.
(C) Between a point 100 feet west of the westerly curb line of Grandview Avenue and a point 435 feet west of the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Burke Parkway.
(3) Fifteen (15) minute time limit parking along the eastbound (southerly) side at all times:
(A) Between the easterly curb line of Stuyvesant Avenue (County Route 619) and a point 145 feet easterly therefrom.
(d) The certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 82 described in this subsection are hereby designated and established as “no parking bus stop” zones, where the parking of any vehicle other than omnibuses, picking up or discharging passengers, is prohibited at all times:
1. In Union County:
i. In the Township of Springfield:
(1) Near side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Marion Avenue – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Marion Avenue and extending 105 feet easterly therefrom.
(2) Far side bus stops along the westbound (northerly) side:
(A) Maple Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Maple Avenue and extending 100 feet westerly therefrom.
ii. In the Township of Union:
(1) Near side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Spruce Street (County Route 633) – Beginning at the westerly curb line of the easternmost intersection of Spruce Street (County Route 633) and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom (approximate milepost 1.13).
(B) Woolley Avenue – Beginning at the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Woolley Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(C) Johnson Place – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Johnson Place and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(D) Adams Avenue – Beginning at the prolongation of the westerly curb line of Adams Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(E) Colonial Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Colonial Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(F) Salem Road (County Route 509) – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Salem Road (County Route 509) and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(G) Lehigh Avenue – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Lehigh Avenue and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(H) Liberty Hall Center – Beginning at the westerly curb line of Liberty Hall Center and extending 105 feet westerly therefrom.
(2) Far side bus stops along the eastbound (southerly) side:
(A) Spruce Street – Beginning at the easterly curb line of the westernmost intersection of Spruce Street and extending 100 feet easterly therefrom (approximate milepost 0.46).
(B) Alvin Place – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Alvin Place and extending 100 feet easterly therefrom.
(C) Creger Avenue – Beginning at the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Creger Avenue and extending 100 feet easterly therefrom.
(D) Commerce Avenue – Beginning at the prolongation of the easterly curb line of Commerce Avenue and extending 100 feet easterly therefrom.
(E) Caldwell Avenue – Beginning at the easterly curb line of Caldwell Avenue and extending 100 feet easterly therefrom.
