Traffic Regulations

(a)

The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 55 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:

In Cumberland County:

NOTE: Begin Route NJ 55 at milepost 20.00.

i. In the Township of Maurice River:

(1)

For both directions of traffic:

(A) Zone 1: 50 MPH between the southernmost intersection of Route NJ 47 and 4,160 feet north of Route NJ 47 (Beginning of the center median) (approximate mileposts 20.00 to 20.80); thence

(B) Zone 2: 55 MPH between 4,160 feet north of Route NJ 47 (Beginning of center median) and Schooner Landing Road (approximate mileposts 20.80 to 21.49); thence

(C) Zone 3: 65 MPH between Schooner Landing Road and the Maurice River Township - City of Millville corporate line (approximate mileposts 21.49 to 21.75); thence

ii.In the City of Millville:

For both directions of traffic:

(A) Zone 1: 65 MPH within the corporate limits (approximate mileposts 21.75 to 26.30 and mileposts 27.65 to 29.43); thence

iii.In the City of Vineland:

For both directions of traffic:

(A) Zone 1: 65 MPH within the corporate limits (approximate mileposts 26.30 to 27.65 and mileposts 29.43 to 38.32); thence
