Traffic Regulations

(a)

The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 91 described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:

In Middlesex County:

i. In the Township of North Brunswick:

(1)

For both directions of traffic:

(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between Orchard Street and the North Brunswick Township-City of New Brunswick corporate line (approximate mileposts 0.00 to 1.26); thence

ii. In the City of New Brunswick:

(1)

For both directions of traffic:

(A) Zone 1: 40 MPH between the North Brunswick Township-City of New Brunswick corporate line and Van Dyke Road (end of route) (approximate mileposts 1.26 to 2.26).

The rate of speed designated for the certain parts of State Highway Route NJ 91 Connector (Jersey Avenue Connector) described in this subsection are hereby established and adopted as the maximum legal rate of speed:

In Middlesex County:

i. In the Township of North Brunswick:

(1)

For both directions of traffic:

(A) Zone 1: 30 MPH between Route US 1 and Route NJ 91 (approximate mileposts 0.00 to 0.37).
