HOBOKEN ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL

More than 300 Artists, Crafters, Photographers and
Sculptors Feature Work On Sunday, May 4, 2003

Hoboken, N.J. (April 14, 2003)—Chart topping music artist Nancy Sinatra will perform for the first time in Hoboken, her father's hometown, at the annual Hoboken Arts & Music Festival, taking place on Sunday, May 4, 2003 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. She will join more than 300 artists, crafters, and musicians at the annual festival on Washington Street between Observer Highway and 7th Streets.

"We are very excited to have Nancy Sinatra come back to her legendary father's hometown and perform for thousands of visitors and fans," said Nancy Byrne, executive director for the New Jersey Office of Travel and Tourism. "Nancy is just one of the many famed musicians who has strong ties to the Garden State."

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet more than 300, artists, crafters, photographers and sculptors exhibiting and selling their work, while sampling a wide range of international foods including Argentinean, French, Indian, Italian, Mexican and Thai. The event is free to the general public.

In addition, special events for children between the ages of 2 and 12 have been scheduled including magic performances, face painting, juggling, a sing-a-long, a moonwalk, a petting zoo, pony rides and much more will be held on 3rd Street in the Bank parking lot.

A variety of live music genres will be played on three stages including folk pop, rock, country swing, Celtic rock, Sinatra ska, Brazilian rhythms and more. The stages are located on 1st, 3rd and 6th Streets.
