NEW JERSEY'S 2004 WEEKLY PLANNER OF EVENTS
NOW AVAILABLE

Trenton, N.J. (January 13, 2004)New Jersey residents can look forward to a year of fun-filled activities and programs all listed in the award winning 2004 Weekly Planner, produced by the New Jersey Commerce's Office of Travel & Tourism.

"We are delighted to bring a more extensive weekly planner to residents who responded overwhelmingly to the 2003 edition," said Nancy Byrne, executive director of the Office of Travel & Tourism. "The colorfully attractive year-long guide provides a glimpse of the various events scheduled throughout the state."

In addition to promoting events throughout the year, the 2004 edition highlights the state's 30 Urban Enterprise Zones, many of which—like Jersey City, the Camden Waterfront and the Wildwoods are great tourism destinations that offer economic incentives for business and retail sales tax savings for visitors.

Presented in "week-at-a-glance" format, the spiral bound planner lists corresponding events on each weekly calendar page with dates and spaces for individual notations. The state's diverse ethnic make-up is reflected in its wide range of listed cultural events.

In addition to the array of festivities offered during each holiday, the state has numerous theatrical events and concerts that include Art Garfunkel, Cherish The Ladies and the Newport Jazz Festival 50th Anniversary Tour. Cultural programs feature Ballet Hispanico at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, the international food and music festival in Bradley Beach and the heritage festivals in Holdmel.

The Weekly Planner can be obtained from Kings supermarkets, AAA Outlets, and the Urban Enterprise Zone Authority Trenton Office at 609-292-1912.
