| July 4th Festivities Around the Garden State Trenton, N.J. (June 21, 2004)—From Tall Ships on the Camden Waterfront to the crackle and kaboom of fireworks along the Jersey Shore, July 4th celebrations are a blast in the Garden State. “New Jersey is known as the Crossroads of the American Revolution,” said Nancy Byrne, executive director of the NJ Office of Travel & Tourism. “What better way to observe our role in history than by enjoying festivities that commemorate the quest for freedom and independence.” Here's a brief roundup of things to do.
