2006 FISA World Masters Rowing
Regatta Trenton—The largest masters rowing event of the year, the 33rd Annual FISA World Masters Rowing Regatta, will navigate the waters of Mercer County Park’s Mercer Lake in West Windsor on September 7 – 10, 2006. “The World Masters Rowing Regatta is considered one of the most prestigious in the world," said Commerce Secretary Virginia Bauer. "We’re proud that New Jersey and Mercer County in particular play host to this year’s regatta." Situated on one of the finest rowing courses on the Eastern Seaboard, the regatta is the World Championship for masters (athletes over the age of twenty-seven) and will feature competitors well into their eighties and nineties. The event is hosted by the Princeton National Rowing Association.
