Marine Research Spaces Available

If you are a public, private or academic entity engaged in any aspect of marine sciences, oceanography, aquaculture, etc., we have laboratory space and office space available at the Sandy Hook Marine Lab. This is an exciting state-of-the-art facility which includes: temperature-controlled circulating seawater; chemical laboratories, lab/offices; and individual private offices.

You can take advantage of our prime waterfront location within a federal National Park; the stimulating presence of some 100 on-site scientists and researchers; and access to one of the most extensive libraries specializing in the marine sciences.

The facilities currently available consist of:

• Seawater Laboratory - (one) 344 sq. ft. at an annual cost of $62. per sq. ft. Includes circulating and temperature controllable seawater at six (6) locations and programmable lights.
• Chemical Lab - 350 sq. ft. chemistry lab with multiple fume hoods and explosion proof design at $55. annually per sq. ft.
• Individual Private Office Space - 150 sq. ft. each @ $27. per sq. ft. (in administrative building).
• Lab Office Spaces - with workbench, propane gas, etc. - 335 sq. ft. at $35. per sq. ft. annually.

All of the above spaces and rates include:

• office furniture

• maintenance and janitorial services
  
• on-site parking
  
• 24-hour security
  
• use of the large (100+ capacity) conference room
  
• library and lunch room facilities
