Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) | Police and Firemen's Retirement System (PFRS)

Governor's Press Release regarding the revised employer bills

The PERS and PFRS 2013 employer billing has been revised to reflect savings resulting from changes in the economic assumptions adopted with the revised 7/1/11 actuarial valuations. The changes include a reduction in the systems’ investment return assumption from 8.25% to 7.95% and a reduction in the systems’ salary increase assumption of -2% for 5 years and -.75% for all years thereafter.
