PFRS BOARD ELECTION UPDATE

Election Results for Firefighting Representive (Active)

The results of the recent PFRS-Firefighting election for Trustee on the Board of Trustees resulted in Timothy Colacci, of the North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue, being elected to the position.  Mr. Colacci’s term will begin on November 1, 2012 and will expire on June 30, 2016. 

Election for Retired PFRS Representative

Election-America mailed election packets to PFRS retirees on October 9, 2012, for the election of retired trustee to the Police and Firemen’s Retirement System, Board of Trustees.  When the retired member receives their election packet, they may cast a vote by telephone, Internet or paper ballot.  The election packet will contain an election code and voting PIN to cast a ballot.  To vote over the Internet via the Vote Election-America website, use the link, https://vote.election-america.com/PFRS  and click the button to vote for retired representative.  To vote by telephone the retired member may dial 866-246-0744. The Division encourages all PFRS retired members to take advantage of the secure electronic means to cast a vote by either telephone or Internet. The last day to cast a vote will be November 23, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.
