If you
wish to change your registered agent/address information, you may
do so by submitting the appropriate document for your type of business
or by filing the Business Entity Amendment Filing (Form REG-C-EA)
that is contained in the New
Jersey Registration Packet.
When
completing these documents, it is important that you indicate a New
Jersey street address when requested. A postal box may be indicated
as long as a street address is provided. The document should be filed
in duplicate. Non-profits should file the form in triplicate.
The
fee for processing this type of transaction is $25.00. Expedited service
providing processing within 8.5 business hours is available for these
fillings received by FAX, in person, or by Courier Service. The fee
for this optional service is $15.00 per transaction for corporations,
non-profits and LPs and $25.00 per filing for LLCs and LLPs. This
fee is in addition to other charges.
Changes
to the registered agent/address information may also be made when
filing the annual
report.
