ONLINE ANNUAL REPORTS
Electronic filing and payment of the annual report is now mandatory. The annual report due date for all businesses will be the last day of the anniversary month of the entity's formation in New Jersey. An annual report due notice will be sent to the registered agent of record three months prior to the due date. It is the entity’s legal responsibility to ensure that the filing office has the correct registered agent name and address on file.
The online annual report system is available for use by all business
entity types. To
enter the online system, you will need your corporation identification
number and the month and year the business entity was originally formed
or authorized to do business in New Jersey. Prompts will direct you
through each segment of the filing.
The system will display the current information on record. You will
need only to verify if the information is correct or to provide the
necessary changes. The ability to update or change registered agent
information is also available. Payment options are e-check, credit
card and depository
account.
The system
will not only allow you to file the current annual report, but also
will reflect any previous year an annual report is outstanding. You
will be able to resolve all deficiencies at one time without exiting
the system or waiting until the next day to submit another report
to the account.
Upon
the conclusion of a successful filing, a confirmation number is provided.
You will be able to print the page for your records.
Standing
reports ordered with the online filing will be processed the next
business day and reflect the information from the electronic filing.
Updated status reports may be ordered in two business days.
Filing
online is quick, easy, and convenient. With your confirmation, you
have ensured that your business record is current and accurate.
