Order #122 issued by Governor James E. McGreevey in July
2004, requires that each independent authority establish an
Audit Committee responsible for soliciting an external auditor,
reviewing the audit results and taking appropriate action.
The Audit Committee is also responsible for assigning an Evaluation Committee to score the responses and making a final recommendation to the Authority as to the firm that is most advantageous to the State of New Jersey price and other factors considered.
The Committee solicited responses from qualified firms in accordance with the Executive Order to perform the audit of the annual financial statements and other services for the NJTTFA. Hutchins, Meyer & DiLieto P.A. was selected to perform the FY 2013 audit. Previously, Mercadien P.C. completed the audits for FY 2011 and 2012.
