NJDA Secretary Douglas Fisher encourages you to join him for Senator Cory Booker’s virtual Farm Bill Town Hall on Wednesday, June 7 at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be moderated by Dr. Laura Lawson, Executive Director of the NJ Agricultural Experiment Station and Dean of the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. Congress passes omnibus legislation every five years that sets national policy and funding levels for agriculture, nutrition, food assistance, conservation, and more. Senator Booker sits on the Senate Agriculture Committee, which has an important role in shaping the Farm Bill. This will be an opportunity for Sen. Booker to provide an update on the upcoming Farm Bill and hear directly from New Jersey stakeholders.
