South Jersey Fall Food & Wine Festival Set for November 1 in Cherry Hill

Treat your taste buds to sips of the Garden State's finest wines and sample outstanding cuisine from some of New Jersey's finest restaurants during the fourth annual South Jersey Fall Food & Wine Festival on Sunday, November 1, from noon to 5:00 pm at the Hilton at Cherry Hill in Cherry Hill, Camden County.

A $20 advance admission to the festival includes an engraved wine glass, wine and food samples, access to all seminars and exhibits, an event newsletter, and a chance to win dinners at the participating restaurants. More than thirty restaurants, all of which have received recent accolades from New Jersey food writers and critics, will participate in the festival. The current list of participating restaurants includes La Campagne, Red Hot & Blue, Emerald Fish, Bentley's V at the Hilton, Singapore Kosher Vegetarian Restaurant, J.D.'z Reef & Beef, Zena's Commissary and Siri's Thai-French Cuisine, all of Cherry Hill; A Little Cafe and Lamberti's Pasta Pomodoro, both of Voorhees; Avion Restaurant at the Flying W, Medford; Filomena Cucina Italiana, Clementon; Garden of Eden Natural Foods & Country Kitchen, Pacific Grille, and Ebenezer's Olde World Cafe, all of Mt. Laurel; Renault Winery Gourmet Restaurant, Egg Harbor City; Ram's Head Inn, Seaview Marriott Resort, Absecon; Union Park Dining Room at the Hotel Macomber and Washington Inn, both of Cape May; Fat Jack's BBQ & Blues of Berlin, Ocean City and Vineland; Ristorante Bruschetta at the Wedgewood Country Club, Turnersville; The Windmill Restaurants, headquartered in Long Branch; and Hardshell Cafe, Marlton & Somers Point. Vintners from at least 11 New Jersey wineries will pour samples of 40 different varieties of wines, ranging from dry and semi-dry table wines to sparkling, fruit and dessert wines. Representatives from the Atlantic Community College Academy of Culinary Arts will showcase their culinary skills through demonstrations. Culinary professionals, nutritionists and cookbook authors will also conduct seminars on wine and food-related topics throughout the day. A select group of exhibitors and vendors will offer gourmet foods, specialty coffees, kitchen accessories, food and wine publications and gift baskets for sampling and sale. A new feature of this year's event will be a "Cigar Room" which will provide consumers with the opportunity to interact with the area's finest cigar retailers. The South Jersey Fall Food & Wine Festival is sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, New Jersey Wine Industry Advisory Council, Garden State Wine Growers Association, New Jersey Restaurant Association, CUIZINE magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Garden State Cable TV, Steppin' Out Television and PHILADELPHIA magazine.
