Age Range: Manalapan-Englishtown offers a comprehensive program for all the deaf students, depending on their needs. Participation in regular education programs is offered with resource center support with teachers of the deaf. Sign language interpreters, sound field systems for students with cochlear implants and FM systems are available. The students receive speech/language therapy according to their individualized education programs (IEPs). The classroom teachers attend meetings where they are provided with educational strategies for the deaf students in their classrooms. The older students are offered the services of a notetaker. Manalapan-Englishtown strives to create appropriate programs to meet the needs of deaf students. to
