Attendees Invited to 'Read All About It' At May 3 Event

TRENTON, NJ – Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Commissioner Lori Grifa today announced that the 2011 NJ Governor's Conference for Women will be held Tuesday, May 3, at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City.  It is the state's largest educational and networking opportunity for New Jersey women.

"The theme of this year's conference, 'Read All About It,' is to inspire attendees to make headline-worthy changes in their life and community," said Commissioner Grifa. "In these challenging times, the latest edition of the Governor's Conference for Women will offer positivity, encouragement and support through educational workshops, networking opportunities and motivational stories."

Attendees will participate in a variety of workshops on women's health and wellness, politics, personal finance, community, business and the economy.

The conference will include a networking reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, May 2, in the Crown Ballroom of the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel.  Also, attendees will be able to visit a health fair all day long on Tuesday for giveaways and free health services, as well as visit dozens of exhibit tables offering products and services.
