New Jersey Redevelopment Authority’s 2025 Training Institute Workshops to Focus on the Future of Redevelopment

  • Posted on: 03/4/2025

TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) is pleased to announce its 2025 Training Institute workshops. These workshops will take place at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 18, April 29, May 27, July 22, September 30, and October 21.

Featuring a series of dynamic themes, the NJRA’s Training Institute is designed to provide training and education necessary to municipal leaders and community stakeholders to help drive successful redevelopment projects across New Jersey. Participants will have the opportunity to network with peers, gain insights, and engage in discussions about the challenges and opportunities in the field.

Led by industry experts, the Training Institute encourages its speakers to share their knowledge on a range of subjects. Previous workshops have covered topics such as real estate finance, community engagement, and historic preservation. The focus of this year’s Training Institute is forward-thinking approaches to development, including strategies for repurposing underutilized assets and fostering sustainable growth and community revitalization.

“As the NJRA Training Institute enters its 19th year, we remain resolute in our commitment to providing attendees with a knowledge base that enables them to be more engaged in the redevelopment process. We have been fortunate to witness full-circle moments where developers transition from Training Institute participants to NJRA developers, reaffirming our tagline, ‘We’re There First’,” said NJRA President and CEO Leslie A. Anderson.

Whether a seasoned professional or a newcomer to redevelopment, the NJRA Training Institute workshops offer valuable knowledge to support efforts in transforming communities.

Registration for all workshops is now open and can be found online at www.njra.us/WorkshopWebinarRegistation. For more information about the Training Institute and other upcoming events, follow the NJRA on InstagramFacebook, and LinkedIn. Space is limited, so interested participants are encouraged to register early to secure a spot.
