Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way to Join Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development as Distinguished Guest

TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) announced today that Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way will be a distinguished guest at the 2025 Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development, taking place September 16–17, 2025, at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.

Lieutenant Governor Way, who has long championed housing equity, community development, and economic opportunity across the Garden State, will join state leaders, housing professionals, developers, and advocates for this premier statewide event. Her participation underscores the Murphy Administration’s commitment to advancing policies and partnerships that strengthen communities, expand housing access, and foster inclusive economic growth.

The Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development is New Jersey’s leading forum for exploring strategies that build thriving communities. Attendees will engage in dynamic sessions on affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, financing tools, workforce development, and innovative policy approaches that are shaping the state’s future.

This year’s program will also feature keynote speaker Peggy Bailey, Executive Vice President for Policy and Program Development at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, along with distinguished panels and networking opportunities.
