Kinship Navigator Program
The Kinship Navigator Program (KNP) aids caregivers, such as grandparents, other blood relatives, and family friends who have taken on the responsibility of taking care of children until age 18 or (21 if the child is disabled), maneuver through various government networks to find formal and informal supports and services, including providing referrals for child care, support groups, medical coverage, legal services and housing assistance.
