Supportive Visitation Services Resources
Supportive Visitation Services (SVS) is a program offered to families with DCP&P involvement whose children are in out-of-home placement. The SVS Program offers supportive visitation services along a continuum, to include: therapeutic supervised visitation, supportive supervised visitation, relative/community partner supervised visits, unsupervised visits, and aftercare services upon reunification.
The goal of the program is to provide safe and effective visits with collaborative planning which result in improved permanency outcomes, increased likelihood of reunification, reduction in the length of stay in out-of-home placement, and decreased occurrences of re-entry into care.
