Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) aims to reduce and eliminate sexual violence. Its efforts are supported by state and federal funds, including a Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) grant and the Preventative Public Health Fund.

The RPE grant helps sexual violence programs implement primary prevention strategies with data. Services are offered in 20 counties.

RPE is a primary prevention program available in most New Jersey counties. It teaches primary prevention principles of sexual violence and strives to increase awareness of sexual violence prevention efforts.

Population Focus
Each county’s sexual violence primary prevention coalition identifies the population in most need and the primary prevention strategy to serve that population.
