The Sexual Assault, Abuse, and Rape Care (SAARC) Program funds sexual violence programs that help survivors heal from the trauma of sexual violence. In addition to state funds, federal funds from the Sexual Assault Services Program and Sex Offense Set Aside further support SAARC’s programs.

DOW-funded SVP's provide free and confidential 24-hour crisis services for survivors over the age of 13, regardless of when the violence took place or whether the survivor makes a police report.

Program Services
Free and confidential services include, but are not limited to:

  • 24-hour hotline and crisis intervention
  • 24-hour accompaniment to hospitals, police stations, and court proceedings by a Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate
  • Crisis counseling
  • Prevention and education programs
