State Implementation Plan Revision for the Infrastructure and Transport Requirements for the 8-hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards and Negative Declaration for the Oil and Natural Gas Control Techniques Guidelines

Date Posted: 11/15/2018

Last Updated: 5/14/2019

This SIP revision includes three components. First, this revision certifies New Jersey's ability and authority to implement, maintain, and enforce the 2015 8-hour 70 ppb ozone NAAQS, addressing the infrastructure requirements of the federal Clean Air Act (CAA) (42 U.S.C. 7410(a)(1) and (2) (Section 110(a)(1) and (2))). Second, this revision separately addresses interstate transport through the portion of 42 U.S.C. 7410(a)(2)(D) (Section 110(a)(2)(D)(i)(I) of the CAA) commonly known as the "Good Neighbor" SIP for the 2015 (70 ppb) and 2008 (75 ppb) Ozone NAAQS. Third, this revision includes a negative declaration that the Oil and Natural Gas CTGs do not pertain to New Jersey.
