State of New Jersey Clean Air Council

Since 1954, the New Jersey Clean Air Council has advised the NJDEP on air quality matters

The NJ Clean Air Council consists of eighteen members, fourteen of which are appointed by the Governor. Members serve four-year terms, and include representatives of the Commissioners of Health, and Community Affairs; and the Secretaries of Agriculture, and the NJ Commerce Commission’s Board of Directors.
