Through the "Dam, Lake, Stream, Flood Control,
Water Resources, and Wastewater Treatment Project
Bond Act of 2003," P.L.2003, c.162, $15,000,000
was made available for Lake and Stream Restoration
Project Loans. In 2005, applications were accepted
and 18 projects were selected to receive funding.
All $15,000,000 was obligated in this first round
of funding.
The loan program is a revolving loan
program. As loans are repaid and funds become available,
the Department will offer addition application
periods to fund future projects. Information regarding
future application periods will be posted on this
web site.
