Passaic River Pike
New Jersey offers anglers a wide variety of warmwater fish to pursue. From bluegills in small ponds to trophy-sized gamefish in larger waters, there's something for everyone. Many of these fish populations are available as a result of the division's stocking programs. The Hackettstown Hatchery has raised fish since 1912, but in recent years has expanded operations to include such species as channel catfish, hybrid striped bass, northern pike, muskellunge, tiger muskies and salmon.
