Abstract:: This data set is a spatial representation of the New Jersey Pinelands Area Boundary and the Pinelands National Reserve Boundary. The original dataset was created by digitizing 68 photo quarterquads that were then appended together to create the boundary. The data set was updated to conform with the Pinelands Management Areas data set(PMAs) based of the NJOGIS parcel layer. The PMAs that are located within the Pinelands Area Boundary were dissolved to form the updated boundary. The PMAs that are located within the Pinelands National Reserve were dissolved to form the updated reserve boundary.
