The New Jersey Sustainable Business Registry (NJSBR) was created to recognize and promote sustainable businesses, nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions across the state for their sustainable and "green" practices. Horizontal_Positional_Accuracy_Report: Latitude and Longitude cooridinates for each business location.

Horizontal_Positional_Accuracy_Explanation:: Business addresses were utilized to obtain geographic coordinates for the point locations. Cooridnates were cross referenced with aerial imagery to ensure accuracy.

Process_Description:

Registry dataset is maintained by the Bureau of Energy and Sustainability in spreadsheet format. The spreadsheet was formatted to include relevant attributes for the downloadable dataset. The spreadsheet was then imported into ArcMap via adding XY Data. A point dataset was created, displaying the locations of each of the businesses on the registry.
