Process_Description:

Outside of the datasets created by the staff in DOIT for NJEMS' SMF, there were many locations that has site IDs but no coordinates (program_code. For those, the physical location of the labs were view using aerial/satellite maps of the facilities using Google Earth and recording the latitude and longitude coordinates. These coordinates were converted to decimal degrees. An Excel spreadsheet was created with these coordinates, site IDs, lab names and their lab numbers (pref_id_num). The spreadsheet was sent to BGIS for coordinate conversion to State Plane Feet and inclusion into NJEMS' SMF. This process started during the last week of December, 2009 with the file (Excel spreadsheet) created January, 2010 and updated as of February 1, 2010.
