This data provides graphic representation of electric company territories of New Jersey. Data was compiled using Electric Utility paper maps, all greater than 1:500,000. It is anticipated that electric company territorial boundaries will remain stable.

January 2002, Territories were updated using a PSEG map from July 2000 and New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection municipal, and county boundaries. ArcView 3.2 was used to provide exact replication of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection municipal boundaries for the "Madison Municipality" polygon. Other polygons were updated visually and manually using ArcView's edit option. All edits were carried out between December 2001 and January 2002. Production Staff: Joel Alvarez (edits), Rob Lau (QC).
