Purpose of Funding
Provide grants to reduce water quality impairment through implementation of nonpoint source (NPS) pollution control projects

Who is Eligible
State, regional and local government agencies or units, County planning departments or boards, State universities and colleges, Interstate agencies of which New Jersey is a member, and watershed and water resource associations and other local nonprofit organizations.
Qualifications Required for Consideration
Applicants must submit a project that meets the administrative requirement, objectives and project criteria as outlined in the Water Quality Restoration grant guidelines available for the current fiscal year.
The amount varies by need. The 319(h), CBT and REPI awards are limited to eligible costs and requirements as defined in the Water Quality Restoration grant guidelines.
Applicants must submit their proposals electronically using NJDEP’s System for Administering Grants Electronically (NJDEP SAGE) and must follow the Registration Instructions on NJDEP SAGE’s login page at https://njdepsage.intelligrants.com. An email will be sent to you when you have been accepted into the system.
