New Jersey’s state parks, forests, and historic sites are wonderful places for school students, college students, summer campers, scout groups, homeschoolers and other groups to explore the state’s rich natural and historic resources. Environmental education programs immerse students in a variety of our state’s habitats and provide connections between the state’s natural wonders and the school curriculum. College students conduct authentic field research in our forests, streams, ponds and wetlands, while history comes alive at our many historic sites. Many of our programs meet scout badge requirements and some sites offer ideas for Eagle and Gold scout projects. Please inquire directly through the links below. In a few cases, if you cannot come to the park or historic site, an outreach program to your group might be available.
Please click here for a list of sites that are offering groups programs. Contact the site staff directly for more information on available programs and registration information.
