Remedial Priority System

Bureau of Information System (BIS)

RPS Overview

The Remedial Priority System is a computerized modeling system designed to help the Department to categorize sites based on potential risk to public health, safety or the environment.  The RPS System is one of many tools used by the Department to evaluate sites for further consideration of Department oversight. It is NOT meant to be an electronic case manager nor an electronic risk assessment, but rather a mechanism to assist the Department in identifying potential risk and making informed decisions when allocating its resources.

The most important aspect of the program is to remediate your site in conformance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidance!

Please utilize the various links located on the menu to learn more about the RPS system.
