As part of its continued commitment to customer service and transformation, the Division of Land Resource Protection provides electronic services as an alternative to paper to allow property owners to apply online for certain land use determinations, authorizations and tidelands license renewals and ownership changes.
The DEP has developed this application for users to locate areas of interest, view and interact with the DEP’s GIS data and aerial imagery, and query for related environmental information.
In the case where an emergency exists that poses a threat to health and human safety and/or a danger to the environment, there are provisions which allow for work to be conducted to take care of the emergency situation in a way that also meets the various rules and regulations administered by this Division.
As New Jersey responds to COVID-19, our office remains committed to processing land use applications. Information includes: Revised Public Notice Requirements, application requirements for permit processing while DLRP staff work remotely, and Permit Extension Act 2020.
NJDEP has made DataMiner available for the public to run a variety of reports that will provide you with up to the minute results. In order to provide flexibility, many of these reports require the user to enter some criteria, which will result in a customized document.
