Additional Forms for Private Career Schools (PCS)
Approved PCSs may experience changes that require approval. The necessary checklists and applications are listed below. Please choose the checklist(s) that meets your school's specific needs and circumstances. If additional forms are necessary, you may download or print them from the Individual Components of the Initial Application Packet. Contracting with a District Board of Education (PCS)
In accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:19-2.4(a)5, approved Private Career Schools (PCS) that contract with a school district to offer a program or portion of a program on an individual or group basis must conduct criminal background checks on all employees who have regular contact with students pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:6-7.1. New procedures have been implemented for employees of PCSs that have contracted with school districts. The procedures streamline the criminal background check process and ensure that PCS are kept up to date regarding any criminal activity of employees.
