Yom HaShoah Commemorative Candles
The Yom HaShoah yellow commemorative candles were donated to the New Jersey Holocaust Education Commission by the Men's Club of Congregation Beit Shalom. The congregation is a Conservative synagogue located in Monroe Township. The yellow candles represent the yellow armbands or stars that Jews were required to wear during the Holocaust in Europe. For information on how to acquire a yellow candle contact the synagogue at 609-395-1952.
