Acting Governor Oliver Directs the Lowering of U.S. and New Jersey Flags in Honor of El Paso and Dayton Domestic Terrorist Attack Victims

TRENTON - Today, Acting Governor Oliver signed Executive Order No. 76, ordering U.S. and New Jersey flags to fly at half-staff to honor the lives of the 31 victims of the attacks in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.

“The senseless acts of domestic terrorism in El Paso and Dayton have left us shaken yet undeterred in our resolve to end the tragedy of gun violence that plagues communities all across our nation,” said Acting Governor Sheila Oliver. “New Jersey joins the rest of our nation in mourning the 31 innocent lives cut short and, in their honor, we will lower our flags to half-mast.”
