Dublin, Ireland -During their final day of the trip, the New Jersey delegation met with companies interested in expansion to discuss growth opportunities and explore partnerships available in New Jersey.

New Jersey Delegation Visits the Guinness Enterprise Centre for a Discussion of the Tech and Life Sciences Sector
The New Jersey delegation was given the opportunity to learn about 10 startup companies located in the Guinness Enterprise Centre focused in areas of technology and life sciences. The Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC) is the top-rated university-associated business incubator in the world that helped establish Dublin as an international tech capital. Opening remarks were offered by Eamonn Sayers, manager of the GEC. He was followed by Wesley Mathews, President & CEO, and Catherine Scangarella, Chief Business Development Officer of Choose New Jersey who gave the audience an overview of New Jersey’s vibrant tech and life sciences sectors. Lastly, Antonio Calcado, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Rutgers University spoke about innovation and economic opportunity in New Jersey.
New Jersey Delegation Meets with Manna Aero Drone leadership and Views a Drone Delivery Demonstration

The New Jersey delegation arrived this afternoon at the Millfield Shopping Centre in Balbriggan to meet with executives from the Manna Aero company. Manna is a Drone Delivery Service “in a box.” The company provides a guaranteed 3-minute delivery time to consumers in suburban and rural communities from every restaurant, convenience store, and pharmacy in their neighborhood. After a successful demonstration, the group had lunch and a chance to converse about mutually beneficial opportunities as Manna is currently considering a location for its US pilot program.
New Jersey Delegation Attends a Business Roundtable Hosted by EY
This afternoon, the New Jersey delegation met with EY’s Irish leadership and Irish companies interested in expansion to discuss growth opportunities and explore partnerships available in New Jersey. The meeting took place at the Hilton Dublin, Charlemont Pl. Opening remarks and greetings were offered by Graham Reid, EY Ireland Partner and Head of Markets, and was followed by Jeff Piluso, EY State of New Jersey Account Leader. Wesley Mathews, President & CEO of Choose New Jersey, and Catherine Scangarella, Chief Business Development Officer gave a presentation on the vibrant and growing technology and life sciences sectors in New Jersey. They were followed by Coleen Burrus, Director, Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations at Princeton University who spoke in detail about the innovation economy and opportunities that exist in New Jersey. Concluding remarks were offered by Damien English, Ireland’s Minister of State for Business.
