AnnouncementsCollege Bound Grant RFP The next cycle of College Bound Grants is coming! The College Bound RFP will be released in November 2006. Approximately $1.65 million of College Bound funds is earmarked as a matching contribution to the NJ GEAR UP State Project. The NJ GEAR UP programs are expected to meet the same requirements as other programs for this RFP. Should you seek an increase in their College Bound funding, their proposal score will determine the award amount.

June 1 for fall enrollment November 1 for spring only enrollment |
Eligible students entering college submit to NJ GEAR UP once per year or if they transfer to another eligible institution mid-year. Students who plan to enroll at the same school for the entire year do not have to submit a new form in November. |
| March | Provide feedback to GEAR UP staff. Required for the annual report. | |
| Financial Aid Release | November 30 | High school juniors and seniors complete this form to allow recruiting contact by the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program. |
| Mentor Application | Ongoing | Provide information for mentor screening and hiring process. |
