Jonathan Seifried was appointed Acting Assistant Commissioner of the Division of Developmental Disabilities in September 2017 and confirmed by Department of Human Services Commissioner Carole Johnson as Assistant Commissioner in October 2018.
Prior to joining the Division in 2001, Jonathan worked for a small non-profit agency as a case manager for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in instructional technology from Stockton University. Most recently, Johnathan served as Director of Housing at the Division, working closely with both for-profit and not-for-profit entities to develop housing options for individuals with ID/DD throughout New Jersey.
