DoAS - NF Portal & LTC2 Processing

NF Portal User Training - Phase I Implementation (Training date June 24, 2022) 
This training was provided to Medicaid certified NFs and SCNFs in preparation for implementation of the NF Portal and provides a comprehensive review of the phase I implementation of the various LTC-2 requests initiated within the portal. Following implementation, all new NF Portal users are encouraged to review the below recording and related training documents in preparation for their NF Portal user experience.

Hospital EARC Certification 2019 Training Materials

This training is intended for NJ hospital discharge planning staff who seek certification to become a Hospital EARC Screener.  The NJ Hospital EARC process is utilized for individuals admitted to an acute care hospital or LTAC hospital setting, seeking NF discharge and who meet identified target population with an expectation of billing NJ Medicaid for all or part of their stay.

Supplemental Training - Hospital EARC Certification

This supplemental training is intended to further assist the trainee requiring Hospital EARC Certification in gaining a greater understanding of the background and logistics of the Hospital EARC; target criteria; and a deeper review of the Cognitive and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) items and related coding.  This training is not intended to replace the Hospital EARC Certification Training and Portal Overview (access above) as required for initial or re-certification.

GO is now Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS). MLTSS uses a managed care approach for the delivery of publically-funded Medicaid long-term care services. MLTSS is designed to expand home and community-based services, promote community inclusion and ensure quality and efficiency.
