Berkeley Heights, NJ – On May 9, 2012, Labor Commissioner Harold J. Wirths honored New Jersey employers for their safety achievements, for promoting a culture of safety in the workplace, and for diminishing safety hazards and preventing accidents at the 84th Annual Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards Union-Hudson area dinner. The event, held at the Berkeley Plaza in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, is one of five area dinners held throughout the state to recognize public and private employers with outstanding performance in preventing workplace injuries and illnesses. Commissioner Wirths read a proclamation from Governor Christie and saluted employers for their dedication to making workplace health and safety a top priority.
