TRENTON, N.J., August 30 2016 – The One-Stop Career Center located at 990 Broad Street in Newark is temporarily closed due to a facility-related issue. The location will remain closed through Friday, September 16, 2016. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development has deployed additional resources to nearby locations to assist customers.

Unemployment insurance claimants can file a new claim or claim weekly benefits by visiting www.njuifile.net or calling (201) 601-4100. Individuals requiring in-person unemployment insurance services can visit the East Orange, Paterson or Elizabeth One-Stop Career Centers. In-person unemployment insurance services are not available at the Jersey City One-Stop Career Center.

Workforce customers seeking re-employment services such as career counseling, job search assistance, re-entry programs, and training grants can visit the East Orange, Jersey City, Paterson or Elizabeth One-Stop Career Centers.
