The 831st Trial Defense Team provides legal defense to Soldiers in the New Jersey Army National Guard who are facing adverse administrative actions, at no cost to the Soldier.

The 831st TDT falls under the Army National Guard Trial Defense Services and operates independently from the NJARNG chain of command.

All communications between Soldiers and defense attorneys are privileged and confidential and may not be used against the Soldier at adverse administrative proceedings.
