Click to enlargeAt this year’s State Elk’s Convention, Deputy Commissioner Stephen G. Abel presented Robert Mauro with a flag and certificate that was flown over Baghdad, Iraq, by the 1st Battalion, 150th General Support Aviation Battalion, New Jersey Army National Guard, in recognition for all that the New Jersey State Elks do for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and New Jersey’s Veterans during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
