Christie Administration Continues Focus on Customers with Modernized Agency in Hudson County

More service counters for even quicker trips

(NORTH BERGEN) -  The most recent customer service renovation project of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) has been completed at the North Bergen Agency in Hudson County. Located at 8901 Park Plaza, 90th and Bergenline Avenue in North Bergen, the agency reopened to serve the public today, January 29, 2016.

Extensive modernization work has been done at this site, almost doubling the size of the agency from 4,600 square feet to 8,000 square feet, which afforded the ability to install additional customer service windows, as well as digital driver’s license and driver testing stations.

“The MVC remains focused on improving operations in every area of our business. This project reconfigured the previously undersized, inefficient agency and demonstrates our continued commitment to meeting the needs of our customers,” said Chairman and Chief Administrator Raymond P. Martinez.

The expanded, modernized and customer-friendly agency will greatly improve the experience for those who choose to visit this agency. The MVC reminds customers to always check our website before any visit to a local office and to take advantage of our “Skip the Trip” license renewal process and our on-line services such as vehicle registration renewals, driver abstract requests, and surcharge and restoration payments.
