MVC Newark Agency Renovations
Suspension and Restoration, Written Driver Testing Services, Only

(NEWARK) - New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) customers are advised that, due to necessary renovations, Suspension and Restoration Services and Written Driver Testing Services will be temporarily unavailable at the Newark Agency beginning Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

All other services at the Newark Agency will continue to be available while these renovations are taking place.

Customers who require the temporarily unavailable services at the Newark Agency may visit the following sites:   

Suspension and Restoration Services
Please visit the Eatontown, Paterson or Trenton agencies.
 
Written Driver Testing Services
Please visit the Bayonne, Rahway, South Plainfield or Edison agencies.

Directions to these sites and additional agency locations are available on our website, www.njmvc.gov. Please be advised that, historically, the best times to visit an MVC agency are mid-week, mid-month.

The MVC reminds customers to always check our website before any visit to a local office and to take advantage of our “Skip the Trip” license renewal process and our on-line services such as vehicle registration renewals, driver abstract requests, and surcharge and restoration payments.
