MVC Vehicle Center in Washington Closed

TRENTON – The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has announced that, effectively immediately, the Washington Vehicle Center is closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. The Washington Vehicle Center will reopen Saturday, November 7.

The employee who tested positive was last in the Washington Center on Friday, October 23.
 
Other MVC Centers in Cardiff, Manahawkin, and Rahway remain closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location.

Cardiff will reopen Wednesday, October 28; Manahawkin will reopen Monday, November 2; and Rahway will reopen Saturday, November 7.

Road test operations in Rahway are not affected and remain open.

Customers are reminded to check NJMVC.gov before heading out to any MVC facility, to get the latest updates, find answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), make appointments for select transactions, and complete all available transactions online, including most license and registration renewals.
