MVC Centers in Trenton, Medford, and Newark Closed

TRENTON – Trenton Regional/Vehicle Center, Medford Vehicle Center, and Newark Regional/Licensing Center have been closed due to an employee at each location testing positive for COVID-19, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission has announced.

Medford Vehicle Center will reopen Wednesday, Dec. 9. The employee who tested positive was last in the Medford Center Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Newark Regional/Licensing Center will reopen Wednesday, Dec. 16. The employee who tested positive was last in the Newark Center today, Dec. 1.

Newark Road Test Operations and Newark Inspection Station remain open, as the facilities are separate from the Regional/Licensing Center.

Six other MVC Centers remain closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location, and are scheduled to reopen on the following dates:

  • Lodi Licensing Center – reopens Friday, Dec. 4
  • Wayne Licensing Center – reopens Friday, Dec. 4
  • West Deptford Regional/Licensing Center – reopens Saturday, Dec. 5
  • Salem Licensing Center – reopens Tuesday, Dec. 8
  • Cherry Hill Vehicle Center – reopens Wednesday, Dec. 9

West Deptford is now scheduled to reopen Saturday, Dec. 5; Springfield is now scheduled to reopen Saturday, Dec. 12.
